Mayor Yap inducts BCCI new set of officers

The Bohol Chamber of Commerce had a new set of officers led by its re-elected President, Engr. Albert Uy of the People’s Lumber Corporation; Executive VIce President Argeo J. Melisimo of the First Consolidated Bank; VP for Internal Affairs Norris Oculam of Fely’s Pawnshop; VP for External Affairs Marietta Gasatan of the Alturas Group of Companies; Secretary Steven Lim of Mang Tinapay; Treasurer Helena Antonieta Veloso of SunLife Grepa, and Auditor Reginald Ong of the Bohol Quality Mall Corporation.

City Mayor John Geesnell “BABA” Yap led the oath-taking and induction of the newly-elected officers in a private ceremony in Tagbilaran City, while the Provincial Governor, Atty. Edgar Chatto led the oath-taking and induction of the newly-installed Board of Trustees led by Atty. Antonio Amora of Amora Realty and Law Office; Atty. Lucas Nunag  of Amarela; Engr. Rodrigo Labunog of Labb Construction; Engr. Victor Bantol of Bohol Limestone; Jerome Auza of; Peter Dejaresco of The Bohol Chronicle Radio Corporation; Dominic Butalid of the Bohol Bee Farm; John Yap of Bohol Tropics Resort; Warren Yap of Wrenleys; Jess Quipit of Tagbilaran City Tyres and Roy Bayonas of Printbit Printing Services.

BCCI Executive Assistant Rolaine Bautista Uy said the occasion also witnessed the turn-over of the flyers which BCCI printed for the City Government of Tagbilaran. BCCI president Engr. Uy led the turn-over ceremonies of the 10,000 flyers on waste segregation. The City Mayor thanked BCCI for this timely assistance and emphasized the importance of BCCI’s involvement in the various councils and boards of the local government, “Our development plans would not be comprehensive without private sector perspective to complement government vision. We are truly grateful for the support of the BCCI in the city’s various undertakings.  Thank you so much for going the extra mile”, emphasized Yap.
