Tagbilaran City’s Musical Dancing Fountain unveils its color and rhythm

The centerpiece in the City Hall Grounds is finally completed! The Musical Dancing Fountain along with the Advent Wreath, Nativity Scene, and the City Hall Park had its blessing last Thursday led by City Mayor John Geesnell “BABA” Yap. Despite the threat of the COVID-19 pandemic, the programs and projects in the City Government of Tagbilaran keep on pressing on and moving forward. Mayor Yap said that we need to look forward to the future and not dwell on the difficulties of the past, “We may have been delayed by the challenges brought about by the threat of COVID-19, but we won’t stop achieving our targets. It’s not important what have happened in the past, the important thing is where are we heading. We will keep our priorities in focus”, Yap said.

The City Government Building which is a prominent landmark along the area will surely attract more visitors. The Musical Dancing Fountain will dazzle the Tagbilaranons from Tuesday to Sunday, 7 to 8 in the evening. The Tagbilaran City Park which is a joint project between the City Government and the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) will be open daily to the public from 6 to 9 in the evening. The public is strongly advised to observe strict health protocols, such as the wearing of face masks and physical distancing. Mayor Yap is optimistic that these new scenic areas in the City can provide the necessary breather to the public as we bravely faced the pandemic.
