Nothing could stop a couple in love. 46 couples exchanged “I do’s” in front of City Mayor John Geesnell “BABA” Yap as the solemnizing officer in the annual FREE civil mass wedding conducted yearly by the City Government. 2-22-22 now held a significant meaning for the couples as they were officially tied by no less than Mayor Yap in the Saulog Gymnasium. Mayor Yap assisted by the Local Civil Registry Office Head Jubelyn Pulgarinas spearheaded the event.

Each couple was provided with a rice cooker, wine, 2-layered wedding cake, bouquet, corsage, and hair and make-up. The bridal gown, veil, barong, and slacks were also provided. Principal sponsors First Lady Jane Yap and City Councilor Atty. Adam Relson Jala gave 50 kg. 1 sack of rice. After which, a wedding snacks (good for 10) was given to the couple’s guests.
