The City Government of Tagbilaran provided free ultrasound and pre-natal vitamins for pregnant women in the city. Dr. Emevic Pascual conducted the FREE ultrasound to the beneficiaries. City Mayor John Geesnell “BABA” Yap drumbeats, this year’s theme of making change for women as various capacity-building activities were lined up to strengthen women’s entrepreneurial streak, “We know and value a woman’s strength. In fact, this year’s celebration leveraged that core. We provided relevant trainings to enhance the enterprising abilities of the women. All of us have been a silent witness to the resilience of our women in managing the household, nurturing their children, and loving their husbands. Thus, this special month, we celebrate with women all around the world,” Mayor Yap said.
